We Make, then why Talk?
We make Tangible, then why Analyse?
We serve Purpose, then why Critique?
About
SEED RETREAT
MOVING THE WINDOW
Date: 25th and 26th August
Venue: RECCA Club, Kochi
Seed Retreat is an initiative for meaningful dialogues on architecture practice and academics. It brings together interested architects for a conversation steered by experienced resource people. The intent is not to find the final word on a question or offer a prescription. It works like the 'Overton window.' Joseph Overton, who worked in public policy, explained that think tanks are effective not because they advocate extreme changes. They bring new possibilities into sight by shifting the windows we look through. Over time, as we persistently work on the possibilities, changes can be influenced.
Seed Retreat does just that. See new possibilities by quietly shifting our windows. Our desire to introspect is the motivation, and dialogue will be the tool.
